About the project

The current VET-POWER project builds upon four years of successful cooperation within the unprecedented SAAM (Supporting Alliance for African Mobility) Pilot mobility scheme project. It aims to further strengthen the achievements of SAAM, involving diverse spectrum of stakeholders active in the field of VET in Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroun, Spain, Italy and France. With a specific focus on enhancing VET provision in the electricity sector and fostering Work-Based Learning and internationalisation, the project aligns with the broader objective of the EU-Africa Global Gateway Investment Package, seeking to support African countries in providing modern, quality education and training that corresponds to the opportunities available at the labour market, facilitating youth mobility, and fostering innovative solutions to enhance teachers’ competences and skills.
