This policy details the various measures implemented by SEPR to ensure, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679, known as the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), and Law No. 78-17, known as the “Data Protection Act,” of January 6, 1978, as amended, the protection of personal data that you may provide to us when you browse the sepr.edu website published by SEPR (hereinafter the “Website”).

- Purpose: management of requests from Website Users (receipt of requests by electronic means, logging and processing of requests)
- Legal basis: legitimate interest
- Categories of data processed:
– Mandatory: last name, first name, email address, company name, subject of the request
– Optional: landline or mobile phone number - Data subjects: Website Users wishing to submit a request relating to the Website
- Recipients of the data: relevant departments at SEPR (Development Department)
- Data retention period: requests and responses are kept for three (3) years from the date your request is closed
- Transfer of data outside the European Union: none
Non-disclosure and security of personal data
Personal data collected via the Website will not be disclosed, transferred, rented, or exchanged by SEPR to third parties without your consent. In exceptional cases, in order to comply with our legal or regulatory obligations, your personal data may be transmitted to the competent authorities.
SEPR is committed to protecting your personal data by applying standard protection technologies to encrypt information transmitted online. These various security technologies and procedures protect your personal information and prevent unauthorized persons from accessing, using, or disclosing it.
SEPR cannot be held responsible for the content of other sites to which links on the Site refer, their level of security, or the privacy practices applied.
Your rights regarding your personal data
In accordance with and within the limits of the provisions of European Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, as amended, known as the “Data Protection Act,” you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict the processing of your data, the right to object, the right to data portability, and the right to define guidelines regarding the fate of your data after your death.
If you are a minor, your legal representative has the same rights over data concerning them as well as data concerning you.
You can exercise these rights by sending an email to dpo@sepr.edu, by using the contact form, or by sending a letter to SEPR, 46 rue Professeur Rochaix, 69003 Lyon, France, accompanied by a copy of your ID.
Finally, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL).
