Capacity Building Projects
Strengthening VET systems worldwide
SEPR also engages in capacity-building projects designed to support the development of vocational education and training systems beyond Europe, such as IMPROVET, V2V-Albania, and VET POWER.
These projects focus on empowering partner institutions – schools, training centres, and ministries – to enhance their organizational, pedagogical, and technical capacities. Through expertise sharing, institutional mentoring, and co-design of training programmes, SEPR contributes to the professionalization and autonomy of its international partners.
By combining technical expertise with a culture of cooperation, SEPR helps build strong, resilient VET ecosystems that promote quality education, employability, and sustainable development around the world.
VET POWER
VET POWER, coordinated by SEPR, aims to enhance Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Africa’s electricity sector. The project strengthens links between VET and the labour market, promotes work-based learning, digital and green transitions, and boosts teachers’ and managers’ competences through international cooperation between Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Spain, Italy, and France.
IMPROVET-AM
IMPROVET-AM is a European Erasmus+ Capacity Building project coordinated by SEPR to improve and promote Vocational Education and Training in Armenia. Focused on the healthcare sector, the project enhances qualifications in dental prosthesis and healthcare assistance, promotes digital and green transitions, and strengthens cooperation between VET centres, companies, and policymakers to support employability and lifelong learning.
