The graphic arts industry is where graphic communications and industrial production meet. The different printing processes (digital, offset, silkscreen…) offer a wide range of possibilities for professionals who need to master the latest innovations.

Participates in the development, management and graphic layout of a document, to obtain the printed form. Work can be carried out either independently or as part of a team.

Starts up, adjusts and operates offset and digital presses. The professional sets the plates or cylinders, inks them and makes sure the device is properly tensioned. During the printing process, they must check quality and conformity with the customer’s order. Finally, they clean and maintain the machine.

Based on the elements provided (specifications, mock-up, production file, computerized elements, etc.), the advanced technician in communication and graphic industries is able to implement the technical means to realize the customer’s request. They may be in charge of team leadership, internal and external relations with the various departments, and compliance with deadlines, costs and technical quality.
