Internship – Placement in companies

High-quality work placements in Lyon, connecting international learners with trusted companies across multiple sectors

Work placement

Backed by more than 30 years of international experience, SEPR supports students from around the world in securing high-quality work placements in Lyon, France.

• Tailored internship placement based on each learner’s profile
• Personal introduction to the host company on the first day
• Full management of administrative documents (Learning Agreement, Erasmus annexes, Europass, etc.)
• Final evaluation conducted with the company tutor at the end of the placement

What does it mean to be a host company?

WELCOME AND PERSONALIZED FOLLOW-UP

• Welcome kit including a practical information guide
• Ongoing support throughout the placement for both professional and day-to-day matters
• Recommendations for outings, cultural activities, and local discoveries

ACCOMMODATION

• Search and selection of suitable accommodation options
• Booking arrangements (costs covered by the client)
• Welcome and support during check-in from Monday to Friday

TRANSPORT

• Booking of local transport tickets/cards (costs covered by the client)
• Delivery of public transport network plans

Language Requirements

French: A2/B1 level strongly recommended

English: B1 level required if the candidate does not speak French

Tourism sector: English B1 mandatory; additional languages are a strong advantage

• Package Price: 600€ per participant

VET POWER

VET POWER, coordinated by SEPR, aims to enhance Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Africa’s electricity sector. The project strengthens links between VET and the labour market, promotes work-based learning, digital and green transitions, and boosts teachers’ and managers’ competences through international cooperation between Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Spain, Italy, and France.

IMPROVET-AM

IMPROVET-AM is a European Erasmus+ Capacity Building project coordinated by SEPR to improve and promote Vocational Education and Training in Armenia. Focused on the healthcare sector, the project enhances qualifications in dental prosthesis and healthcare assistance, promotes digital and green transitions, and strengthens cooperation between VET centres, companies, and policymakers to support employability and lifelong learning.

V2V-AL

V2V – VET to VET Capacity Building in Albania is a European project co-funded by the EU and led by Apro Formazione. The project supports the modernization, innovation, and internationalization of Albanian vocational education and training (VET) schools through twinning, coaching, and collaboration with European partners such as SEPR and EfVET.

SAAM

SAAM – Supporting Alliance for African Mobility – is a European Commission project connecting Africa and Europe through vocational mobility. Coordinated by Centro San Viator with SEPR and partners from 25 countries, SAAM strengthens VET systems, builds capacities, and fosters youth employability through international cooperation and exchange.

INTERVET

The INTERVET WB project promotes the internationalisation of vocational education in the Western Balkans by creating learning mobility opportunities for students and teachers. It strengthens VET systems, employability, and cooperation between Europe and the enlargement countries.
